Tom Arma Easter Costumes!

Tom Arma Rabbit Costume

Tom Arma costumes are by far the cutest kids costumes I’ve ever seen. One look at your child in a Tom Arma costume and you’ll wonder why you didn’t buy one sooner.

They are absolutely adorable!

Every year our neighborhood has an Easter parade for all the kids. They decorate their bikes, wagons, strollers and scooters with streamers, decorations and of course Easter baskets and ride down street in perfect parade fashion. The parents sit at the end of their driveways and give out candy. The kids love it!

For the last few years my kids have been wearing Easter costumes and now practically the whole neighborhood does it. It’s sort of an early Halloween because all the kids call it their Easter trick-or-treating parade. If you have a small neighborhood you should really think of having the kids put on a parade. The kids get so into it there’s not much the adults have to do anymore!

Cheers To The Patron Saint of Ireland!

Leprechaun Costume

Lucky Charms CostumeSt Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, do you know where your Leprechaun costume is?

Only 19 more days till the celebration begins with parades, parties and plenty of green beer to go around.  The best place to party on St Patrick’s Day is of course, Ireland! However, if a trip to Ireland wasn’t in your travel plans this year then be sure to check out the fun at your neighborhood Irish Pub; it’s about as close to Ireland celebrations as you can get!

St Patrick’s Day is so much fun, so be sure to get out there grab a green beer and give a toast to good old St Patrick!

Presidents Day Party!

Plastic American Flags

We’re trying something new this year with my son Caden and his friends.  Since all the kids are off school on Monday for Presidents Day, I thought we’d let him have a Presidents Day Party and invite all his friends over.  They’re off every year for the holiday, but there’s never anything really going on so we thought this might be something fun to do.

However, there is a little “catch” to the party!  All the boys that come have to wear a President’s mask or they can go all out and come dressed as their favorite President.   It can be any President they want, from George Washington to President Obama AND they have to know at least two important facts about that President.  At first I didn’t think Caden would go for the idea, but after he told his friends about it, they were all for it.  Although I’m pretty sure they’d do just about anything for a party!

Caden suggested we have games and prizes and lots of food.  We’re going to decorate the house with everything and anything red, white and blue with those small plastic American flags everywhere.  It should be a lot of fun and the kids will have a blast!

This year if your kids are off school on Presidents Day, think about throwing a Presidents Day Party for them.  They’ll be having so much fun they won’t even realize they’re actually learning about the different President’s as well!

Celebrate In Mardi Gras Style!

Mardi Gras Costumes

Wow there is so much going on in the month of February; Valentine’s Day, Mardi Gras, President’s Day and the one we just missed – Groundhog’s Day (although that would be a hard one as far as costumes are concerned).

However we all know that the biggest party holiday of the month is definitely Mardi Gras!  There are celebrations, parades, costumes, decorations and parties, parties and more parties all over the country, but none bigger then in New Orleans.  How cool would it be to hang out at the French Quarter and Bourbon Street during some of the crazy festivities.  The Mardi Gras Carnival season actually started back on January 6th, but the grand finale is Mardi Gras Day (also known as Fat Tuesday) on February 16th.

If you can’t make it to New Orleans this year then bring Bourbon Street to you!  HalloweenExpress.com has everything you’ll need  from wonderful Mardi Gras costumes and elegant sequin masks to those infamous Mardi Gras beads and boas to make your party one for the record books!

Don’t let this February 16th pass you by without throwing your own Fat Tuesday party!

Here We Go Again!
